Adding a New Transportation Area

Setting up your Areas is the very first step in organizing your transportation network. Think of an Area as a broad label that helps parents identify which bus serves their neighbourhood at a glance.

How to Create an Area

1. Find the Area Manager

Log in to Content Manager and head to Transportation in the left-hand sidebar. Once you're there, click on the Areas tab at the top of the screen.

2. Start a New Area

Click the blue + Add Area button to open the creation window.

3. Name Your Area

Give your area a clear, recognizable name.

Examples: "Northwest Quadrant," "Downtown/Central," or "South Side Neighbourhoods."

4. Create!

Once you’ve typed in the name, just click Create.

What’s Next?

Now that your Area is created, it’s ready to be linked! You can now head over to the Routes tab to create a bus route and connect it to this new Area.
