Swapping out images is one of the quickest ways to give your site a fresh face. Here is that process turned into an easy-to-follow guide.
Keeping your website’s photos up to date is a breeze! Whether you’re updating a staff headshot or swapping out a seasonal banner, here is how you replace an existing image in seconds.
Log in to Content Manager and head to the left-hand navigation pane. Click on Images to see your full library.
Scroll through your gallery or use the search tools to find the photo you want to swap:
Title Search: Type in the name of the file.
Tags: Filter by categories to narrow down your results.
Once you’ve found it, click on the image to open up the Image Editor.
In the bottom left corner of the editor, click the blue Replace Image button. Choose your new file from your computer to upload it.
Important Note on File Names: > To make sure your website knows exactly where to find the new photo, ensure your new file has the exact same name as the one you are replacing. Our system uses these names to "map" the image to the right spot on your site!
Once your new photo is uploaded, click Save within the Image Editor.
That’s it! The system will automatically update that image everywhere it appears on your website. No need to go page-by-page to fix it.
Before you upload, check that your new image is a similar shape (aspect ratio) to the old one. This ensures your page layout stays perfectly aligned and looking sharp!
