The Menu Bar

Let's learn about all of the sections in Content Manager and what they do! 


In the Left Hand Side Bar:
  1. Dashboard
    1. The dashboard is the default home screen and a place where you can view release notes, link to the support email and see any special events.
  2. Pages
    1. Where you go to create, manage, and update pages for your websites. 
  3. News
    1. Announce the school winter concert, registration reminders, report cards, and more with publishing news articles to your site. 
  4. Events
    1. Book fair or school photos coming up? The Events section is connected to your school calendar, this is where you can post new events or update existing ones. 
  5. Fragments
    1. Need to create a clickable link or button on your site? Start here!
  6. Ordered Lists
    1. Organize fragments, pages, news, and events with an ordered list. 
  7. Navigation
    1. Navigation connects to the menu on your school site. Connect pages and external links to organize in the navigation on your site.
  8. Images
    1. The source of truth for all images across your site, regardless of where they are embedded. 
  9. Documents
    1. Need to share meeting minutes or school supply lists on your site? Documents is where you go to organize any and all documents published to your site.
  10. Transportation
    1. Anything related to bus transportation at your school. Publish routes, statuses, and areas covered in this section.
  11. Alerts
    1. School cancelled due to weather? Teachers on strike? Create an alert to make a clear and obvious announcement to anyone who views your site.
Your access to each of these may vary depending on your account permission levels. 


The menu at the top of your screen in Content Manager contains a few more things. The Site Drop Down menu allows you to select any site in your district to work on (depending on your account permissions). The ? links you to our support centre. Lastly, the Power button signs you out of Content Manager.
