We are thrilled to introduce the Storage Manager—a major upgrade designed to give you total control over your images and documents. Think of it as a more intuitive, powerful way to organize, find, and maintain all the media that powers your site.
Here’s a look at the powerful new features at your fingertips:
Finding that one specific photo or PDF just got a lot faster.
New Search & Filters: Quickly narrow down your library to find exactly what you need.
Customizable Grid View: You can now sort, resize, and even hide columns to make your workspace look exactly how you want it.
Folder Organization: You can finally group images into folders! Keep your "Athletics" photos separate from your "Board Meeting" documents.
Keywords: Want to label a file without creating a formal tag? Use Keywords to freely label and search for files on the fly.
The Safety Net: Accidentally deleted a file? Don't panic! You can now restore deleted files.
Stop managing files one by one. You can now handle your media in "batches."
Bulk Upload: Drop multiple files into the manager all at once.
Bulk Edit & Move: Move entire groups of files to a new folder or update their settings in one click.
Your files now have the same "smarts" as your Pages and News items.
Publish & Expiry Dates: Schedule a file to become visible on a certain date, or set it to automatically become unavailable when it’s no longer needed.
"Obsolete" Flag: Mark a file as obsolete to let your teammates know it’s out of date. It stays in the system for your records, but with a clear warning label.
Ever replaced an image and immediately wished you hadn't?
Track Changes: View a full history of changes made to any file.
Revert Versions: If you upload a new version of a document but prefer the old one, you can revert back to a previous version instantly.
For the first time, you can apply Structures directly to images and documents. By filling in structure values during the upload process, you ensure your data stays clean, consistent, and easy to organize from the very start.
Tip: Start by creating a few Folders for your most-used categories (like "Logos" or "Newsletter PDFs") to see how much faster your workflow becomes!
